Ministry of Water Resources and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have discussed strategic cooperation in the development of Cambodia.
The discussion was the main purpose of yesterday's meeting granted by Water Resources and Meteorology Minister H.E. Lim Kean Hor to Ms. Sunniya Durrani-Jamal, new Country Director, Cambodia Resident Mission of the ADB at the ministry office here in Phnom Penh.
Both sides exchanged insights for water resources and meteorology section in the ADB's Country Partnership Strategy 2019 and ministry's long-term road map on water resources management 2019-2034.
They were positive of future cooperation that will bring the sector which is a backbone of Cambodia's growth to a new level.
Ms. Sunniya Durrani-Jamal also expressed her appreciation of heavy experiences of water resources minister who has led successfully projects in cooperation with her Bank.
From his end, H.E. Lim Kean Hor thanked ADB for its contribution to the development of Cambodia, and warmly welcomed its new country director and looked forward to working with her.
