The Ministry of Mines and Energy held here last Saturday a Dissemination Workshop on the Update of Oil Sector in Cambodia.
This event was presided over by H.E. Sok Khavann, Secretary of State for Mines and Energy with the participants from the ministry and its line departments and the Electricity of Cambodia (EDC).
Cambodia is expected to get its first drop of oil next year.
According to the KrisEnergy Ltd (KrisEnergy)'s press release, Cambodia will get the oil in the third quarter 2019. The production barge will be capable of processing up to 30,000 barrels of fluid per day, and equipped with gas, oil and water separation facilities.
