Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has continued sharpening business and entrepreneurship skills among high school students toward self-employment and decent job opportunities.
The ministry has announced its next phase of equipping the skills among some 500 students at 25 high schools across Cambodia during a reflection workshop on the implementation of the initiative at an outsourced venue here in Phnom Penh.
According to senior officials representing the ministry H.E. Sean Borath and H.E. Toch Choeun, initial rollout of the business and entrepreneurship skill training to students proved to be very positive.
They added that the endeavour does not only promote household livelihood of trained students, but also contributes to sustaining Cambodia's high economic performance.
A wide range of skills was included in the training package, including business marketing and financial management.
During the initial stage, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports had trained about 225 students and teachers on the skills.
