The Cambodian Ministry of Commerce has launched Online Mark Filling System in order to help facilitate the private sector and the public in registration and access to different services related to trade marks.
The launching ceremony was organised here on May 25 by the Intellectual Property Department, Ministry of Commerce, selected as the Secretariat of the National Commission for Intellectual Property Rights Management, under the presidency of H.E. Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce.
H.E. Pan Sorasak highlighted the ministry's commitment under the technical support from the World Intellectual Property Organisation, and other partners to the promotion of intellectual property implementation in the country.
The Online Mark Filling System launched today is another new achievement of the cooperation between the Ministry of Commerce and WIPO, he said. This Online Mark Filling System reflects the ministry's commitment in promoting the public services.
H.E. Minister believed that the Online Mark Filling System will help reduce time and cost of trade mark registration and application for other related services as well as increase the efficiency of trade mark system management.
