Ministry Holds Hoka Hospitality Training to Restore Tourism in Northeastern Provinces

The Ministry of Tourism has organised a Hoka hospitality Training of Trainer on Food and Beverage Service.

The training took place recently through a Videoconference officially opened by the H.E. Pak Sokhom, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Tourism and President of Hoka Committee.

Representatives from the Swisscontact, ASEAN trainers as well as directors of Northeastern provincial tourism departments joined the training.

H.E. Pak Sokhom underlined that the training is a key element of the road map 2020-2025 to restore and enhance Cambodia's tourism sector during and after COVID-19.

The training aims to strengthen the capacity of employees in tourism industrial sector and promote the productivity in tourism industry through digital literacy and skill enhancement.

It also covers digital tourism and the commitment to achieve "one employee, one skill", he added.

As part of the endeavour, the ministry is also planning to establish tourism vocational training school in Siem Reap and Mondulkiri provinces.
