Cambodia's Minister of Environment H.E. Say Samal received here yesterday Ms. Delayne Weeks, Vice President of Social Development and Head of the Team for International Overview and Financial Relations of Bambusa Global Ventures, according to the Ministry of Environment's news release.
Ms. Delayne Weeks told H.E. Say Samal of her company which produces bamboo furniture for local consumption and of its plan to invest in processing bamboo in Cambodia for export, mainly to Australia.
In reply, H.E. Say Samal welcomed the investment plan, saying that it will create more job opportunities and increase income for local people. In addition, he asked the company to ensure market sustainability.
