Cambodia and France have signed a project on Master Plan for French Language 2022-2025 to promote the study of the language in Cambodia.
The signing ceremony took place here in Phnom Penh on Mar. 21 between H.E. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports and H.E. Jacques Pellet, French Ambassador to Cambodia.
The project was aimed to respond to the demands of both the quality and quantity of French language study in line with Cambodia's on-going education reform, especially the development of quality learning of foreign languages.
Under the project, a working group in charge of French language has been established to ensure the creation and monitoring of the master plan.
