Malaysia to Boost Investment and Tourism in Cambodia

Malaysia will further boost investment and tourism in Cambodia, especially in Phnom Penh capital.

The commitment was made by newly appointed Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia H.E. Eldeen Hussaini bin Mohd Hashim during his recent meeting with H.E. Khuong Sreng, Phnom Penh Municipal Governor here at his office.

The new Malaysian diplomat spoke highly of Cambodia's robust economic growth, especially in the development of the capital, and investment potentials increasingly attracting foreign investment from year to year to the Kingdom.

He continued with an appreciation of Cambodia for reducing the country's poverty rate to only nine percent.

From his end, H.E. Khuong Sreng thanked H.E. Ambassador for the positive note and underlined the Royal Government's efforts in facilitating and encouraging all foreign investors including those from Malaysia to the Kingdom.
