MAFF Welcomes Discovery of Hazardous Chemical Detection Device

Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) has expressed full support to the discovery of food hazardous chemical detection device by a group of former students of the Royal University of Agriculture.

According to a news release of MAFF, the new device can detect more than 1,700 chemical substances in meat, vegetables, and fruits.

The device will contribute to building customers' trust as well as promoting safe agricultural products on markets, and thus enhancing the agriculture sector, it underlined.
