Logistics and Multi-purpose Port Development Project Endorsed by CDC

A logistics and multi-purpose port development project has gotten green light from the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).

With an investment capital of US$1,300 million, the project is invested by Kampot Logistics and Port Company Limited, said a press release of CDC made public yesterday.

The project, located in Changhaon village, Sangkat Preak Tnaot, Bokor city, Kampot province, is expected to create 590 jobs for the locals, it added.

Such investment demonstrates confidence of investors in Cambodia’s macroeconomic, political and social stability as the country is recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
