Samsung Electronics’ AI technology is applied to its home appliances to present its latest kitchen innovations, along with SmartThings connectivity aimed at creating an upgraded food and kitchen ecosystem.

In the 2024 Bespoke refrigerator, AI keeps track of all food and groceries in and out of the fridge and alerts the user to consume foods that are about to expire.

Its washing machines, dryers and robot cleaners also offer AI-led services.

Samsung Electronics earlier announced a collaboration with Tesla Inc., set to be unveiled during CES 2024.

This collaboration will integrate Samsung’s SmartThing Energy with Tesla products, providing users with valuable insights into energy production, storage and usage.

In a move toward sustainable living, Samsung Electronics will also showcase its new environmental strategy, fostering the use of energy- and resource-efficient products for sustainable living.

Themed “Towards a Better Future,” the company’s pavilion is full of products made from recycled materials developed by the Circular Economy Lab.

The Lab, created in 2022 to conduct comprehensive research on material recycling technologies and resource extraction processes, has contributed to the company’s efforts to use recycled plastics in its new products.

Samsung Electronics said it has also used recycled plastic materials for the walls of this year’s CES showroom, reusing some of the recycled plastic walls used at the I
FA 2023 exhibition center.

An archive wall in the showroom presents its specific recycling efforts for its products, including the various recycled materials used in new products, and the company’s upcycling projects.
