Draft law on e-commerce is now being reviewed by the Council of Ministers and expected to be adopted by this year.
The update was shared by H.E. Thao Sokmony, Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce during a recent workshop on Rural E-Commerce Development here in Phnom Penh.
The undersecretary of state underlined the significance of the law that it will help maximise the benefit for both business institutions and customers.
He added that e-commerce is playing a key role in expanding trade relations as well as promoting potentials of products.
