H.E. Thongloun Sisoulith, Prime Minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, will lead a high-level delegation to pay an official visit to Cambodia from Sept. 12 to 13, 2019 to strengthen and expand bilateral relations of friendship, solidary, fraternity and cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the visit will be made at the invitation of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Both Prime Ministers will hold a bilateral meeting, during which various aspects of bilateral cooperation and border issues will be discussed. After the meeting, the two Premiers will preside over the signing ceremony of a number of documents, and then hold a joint press announcement.
Besides, H.E. Thongloun Sisoulith will pay separate courtesy calls on Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum, Acting Head of State of Cambodia, and Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly.
The Lao leader will also lay wreathes at the Independence Monument, and pay tribute at the Royal Memorial Statue of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk Preah Borom Ratanak Kaudh, the Late King-Father of Cambodia.
