Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training has urged national and international engineers to get registered at the Board of Engineers Cambodia (BEC) as soon as possible to become ASEAN's eligible professionals.
H.E. Ith Samheng made the call during a recent meeting with the delegation of BEChere in Phnom Penh yesterday.
BEC has so far put forward work plan to boost the field of engineering in Cambodia to another level marketable across ASEAN.
From his side, the minister of labour encouraged the BEC delegation to further build awareness of its functioning among Cambodian engineers to encourage them to get registered.
It is also important, he added, for the BEC to look into the betterment of support legal documents and evaluation procedure for an effective endeavour.
The Board of Engineers Cambodia (BEC) was defined as a sole national engineering institution in Cambodia to collect national engineers by mean of registration and upgrade professional qualifications to an internationally accepted standard and contribute to the national development and alleviation of poverty.
