Krousar Thmey Foundation Committed to Help Street and Abandoned Children

Krousar Thmey Foundation has been committed to continue providing cares to disadvantaged children, especially street and abandoned children, said its Founder and President Mr. Benoît Duchâteau-Arminjon (Bénito) on Nov. 29.

He also expressed his appreciation for the Royal Government of Cambodia for its continued attention to the disadvantaged children, especially after the transfer of the special schools for deaf and blind children of Krousar Thmey to be under the supervision of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in 2019.

“Krousar Thmey is proud to contribute with the Royal Government of Cambodia to assist the disadvantaged children and we are determined to continue to provide children from the streets, children with no cares, children that need to be taken care of, […] and we will continue our programme in Cambodia,” he said upon a meeting with H.E. Khieu Kanharith, Minister of Information.

Founded in 1991 in the Site II Refugee Camp in Thailand, Krousar Thmey is the first Cambodian organisation helping disadvantaged children, building a world in which children are empowered to grow into independent and responsible adults.
