Bridge crossing Mekong River linking Kratie to Kampong Thom province will be built in 2020 �thanks to the concession loan from China.
H.E. Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transports shared the update during a recent site visit to Kratie province.
The government is now studying the details of the project cost, he said adding that his ministry is working to determine the specific location to build the bridge.
The bridge will stretch for 1,761 metres, and its construction will take up to three years, H.E. Sun Chanthol continued.
The bridge will ease the travel of people in Kratie and Stung Treng provinces to Kampong Thom province and vice versa.
