Korea is joining hands with Cambodian investor to establish the biggest shopping mall of international standard in Phnom Penh to correspond to the capital's increasingly modernising lifestyle.
The information was shared by H.E. Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce, after witnessing official signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Korea's Emart Company and Royal Group Cambodia late last week.
The establishment of Korea's shopping mall will respond to the people's demand for quality services and commodities, said the minister.
In addition, it also reflects Cambodia's peace and political stability as well as its strong potential of trade and investment, he added.
The shopping mall will situate next to the Ministry of Commerce in Sen Sok district, Phnom Penh. It is the joint venture of the Royal Group Cambodia and Emart large retailer in South Korea with 160 branches in some Asian countries.
