KOIMA Interested in Cambodia’s Clean Water and Energy Sectors

The Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) is interested in clean water and energy system investment in Cambodia using Hope Solar Farm technology.

In a news release of the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce (MoC), the interest was revealed by visiting Deputy Director of KOIMA Mr. Gyu-Ha Jang while paying a courtesy call on MoC Minister H.E. Pan Sorasak at the ministry office recently.

Mr. Gyu-Ha Jang also expressed KOIMA's intention to partner with local investors prior to carry out the plan.

H.E. Pan Sorasak appreciated the investment plan, saying that it would benefit people living in rural areas, mainly those without access to electricity and clean water. He also requested the KOIMA side to make a proposal and business plan in detail to facilitate discussion and find business partners.

Mr. Guy-Ha further unveiled KOIMA's interest to study the possibility of exporting Kampot pepper to Korea, while H.E. Minister strongly welcomed and encouraged KOIMA to pay a visit to pepper farms to learn more about export opportunities.
