Cambodia's coastal Koh Kong province is deepening its cooperation with Jilin province of China toward mutual growth, especially in tourism.
The sister alliance between the two provinces will allow further economic and tourism development for both sides, said Koh Kong Governor H.E. Mrs. Mithona Phouthorng during recent cooperation discussion meeting at the province.
The governor spoke highly of on-going progress in Koh Kong at large enabled by increasing development projects from China.
Located in the southwest of Cambodia, Koh Kong is a province rich of natural resources and received a broad range of investment projects including a major one to build a historic airport in a near future.
Considered the province as a highly potential one in the Kingdom, H.E. Mrs. Mithona Phouthorng expressed her optimism that comprehensive cooperation between Koh Kong and Jilin province will contribute to tourism human resource development to bring the reputation of the province to a new level.
According to online source, Jilin province is located in the northeastern part of China bordering North Korea and Russia.
