Japanese Embassy To Hold 25th Memorial Service for a Late Japanese Police Officer

The Embassy of Japan in Phnom Penh will hold the 25th memorial service for the late Haruyuki Takata, Police Officer, who was dispatched to UNTAC by the Government of Japan and passed away during his mission in Cambodia on May 4, 1993.

According to the embassy's press release, this event will take place on May 4, 2018, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Tang Korsang Pagoda in Phnom Penh.

The forthcoming memorial service will be attended by Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia H.E. Horinouchi Hidehisa, and representatives of the Royal Government of Cambodia and Japanese community in the Kingdom.

Japan has been playing a very crucial role in Cambodia's peace seeking, reconstruction and development.
