Japanese Embassy To Hold 22nd Japanese Speech Contest in Cambodia

The Embassy of Japan, in collaboration with the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Centre (CJCC) and the Department of Japanese Language, Institute of Foreign Languages, Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP-IFL) are going to hold the 22nd Japanese Speech Contest in Cambodia for Japanese Language Learners.

According to the Embassy's news release, this event will take place in the afternoon of May 26, 2019.

Japanese Speech Contest is a special occasion for students of various Japanese schools in Cambodia to showcase a wide range of brilliant speeches.

This year, 15 candidates were selected among 56 candidates to compete in the final round. This contest aims to further promote the understanding of Japanese culture and language among the Cambodian youth.
