A Japanese company branded A2A Town (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. is investing US$521 million to develop Kirirom National Park in Kampong Speu province.
The investment plan was shared by its firm’s CEO Mr. Takeshi Izuka during his recent meeting with H.E. Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce here in Phnom Penh.
According to the Ministry of Commerce’s news release, H.E. Pan Sorasak welcomed the Japan’s investment, stressing that this project will contribute to developing the sustainable modernisation of the province’s Kirirom Natural Park.
The minister suggested the Japanese investor to collaborate with the ministry’s General Department of Trade Promotion to market the Kirirom natural city development project.
Event like exposition, added H.E. Pan Sorasak, can also attract investment partners as well as tourists to the development area.
The minister also spoke highly of the Japanese firm’s endeavour in transforming the natural park into ecotourism and Kirirom Institute of Technology, and providing scholarship awards and jobs to many Cambodians by far.
