Under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (KUSANONE Grant), the Government of Japan has provided US$262,750 for three development projects in Cambodia.
The financing agreement was signed by H.E. Horinouchi Hidehisa, Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia and representatives of beneficiary organisations in charge of the project implementations here in Phnom Penh yesterday.
Of the total amount, US$89,112 and US$88,935 will be used for rehabilitation of irrigation systems in the provinces of Banteay Meanchey and Battambang, respectively.
The rest US$88,703 will be used mainly to supply school materials at Regional Polytechnic Institute Techo Sen Battambang.
