Cambodia has developed and progressed rapidly, especially the booming investment, trade and tourism contributing vitally to national economic growth and poverty alleviation in the Kingdom.
H.E. Hidehisa Horinouchi, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia, shared the impression while bidding farewell to Samdech Vibol Sena Phakdei Say Chhum, President of the Senate at his office here in Phnom Penh yesterday.
The Japanese ambassador lauded good relation and cooperation between Cambodia and Japan, and thanked the Cambodian Senate, the National Assembly, as well as the Royal Government of Cambodia for their support during his three-year mission.
H.E. Hidehisa Horinouchi also pledged to continue his support to Cambodia in his next role as Ambassador of Japan to Netherland.
From his side, Samdech Say Chhum thanked the government of Japan and Japanese people for provision of grand, loan and technical aids for socio-economic development and enhancement of living standard of Cambodian people.
The President of Senate attributed the move to the strengthened bilateral cooperation for mutual interests of both countries and peoples.
He also spoke highly of successful diplomatic mission of H.E. Hidehisa Horinouchi in Cambodia.
