Japan Holding Online Study in Japan Fair 2023 Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and ASEAN
Study in Japan Fair 2023 Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and ASEAN has been taking place online from Jan. 5 to 28, under the theme “Open your future in Japan – Study and Job”.
The online fair was organised by Okayama University for ASEAN people who wish to study in Japan as a part of the Study in Japan Global Network Project (ASEAN) which is entrusted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology – Japan, said a press release shared this afternoon by the Embassy of Japan in Cambodia.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it continued, the fair will be held online for 10 ASEAN countries although “we also have experience in holding the fairs in Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos in the past.”
According to the source, the purpose of the fair is to provide ASEAN nationals with necessary and latest information to encourage to study in Japan. The fair also provides ASEAN people with career information after the graduation in Japan.
“At the fair, we will introduce information about studying in Japan, career opportunities, and participating institutions and schools on the special website. Furthermore, 53 educational institutions and schools from all over Japan will provide online consultation, introduce scholarship information, and more information for those who wish to study in Japan,” it stated.
The admission to the online event is free, but pre-registration is required on the website (https://2023.studyinjapan-asean.com/).
The fair is recognised respectively as a commemorative event of the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation, the 70th Anniversary of Friendship between Cambodia and Japan, and the 40th Anniversary of the Look East Policy.
