H.E. Fumiaki Takahashi, President of Japan-Cambodia Association, has expressed warm welcome and appreciation for Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen's visit to Japan, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of establishment of both countries' diplomatic ties.
During their courtesy meeting in Tokyo, Japan this morning, H.E. Fumiaki Takahashi, former Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia, thanked Samdech Techo Hun Sen for his support to the Association's activities and informed him of the creation of museum of Mekong water and fish conservation in Cambodia.
For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen recommended the museum to include fish hatching in order to distribute baby fish to farmers. He also thanked Japan-Cambodia Association for its support to the election in Cambodia and asked Japan to continue to support the election process in Cambodia which will be held regularly.
Earlier on the same day, in the meeting with Mr. Masahiro Imamura, President of Japan-Cambodia Parliamentary Friendship Association, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said the situation in Cambodia after the 2018 general elections is much better than that after the 2013 general elections, saying that the Cambodian people are now enjoying happiness and celebrating the Pchum Ben Festival or the Festival for the Deaths.
