Indonesia has scheduled exhibition of the country's products in Cambodia in order to boost trade between the two ASEAN nations, according to a press release from the country's Embassy to Cambodia.
To take place at Koh Pich (Diamond Island) Convention and Exhibition Centre here at the heart of Phnom Penh, the three-day exposition from July 7-9 will showcase products of some 50 companies from Indonesia.
As planned, Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak and Ambassador of Indonesia to Cambodia H.E. Pitono Purnomo will preside over the opening of the event.
Vice-President of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce Oknha Lim Heng shared that Indonesia has established huge trade relationship with Thailand and Vietnam. However, the country's trade with Cambodia remains small.
Record showed that trade volume between Cambodia and Indonesia in 2016 was US$250 million.
It is expected that the exhibition will contribute to building trade partnership between the two countries, thus boosting their trade volume in the future.
