A high-level delegation from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China has showed their intention in investing in electrical wire production and clean water system in Cambodia.
The intention was raised during the meeting here yesterday between Cambodian Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak and visiting Governor of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region H.E. Chen Wu, according to the Ministry of Commerce's news release.
H.E. Chen Wu said many Guangxi companies have been investing in Cambodia in the fields of agriculture, construction, media (Nice TV), and more investors will come to the Kingdom to achieve the strategic objectives of the One Belt, One Road initiated by Chinese President H.E. Xi Jinping.
For his part, H.E. Pan Sorasak expressed his full support and pledged to coordinate for the concretisation of the above-said investment plan.
H.E. Minister also called on the Guangxi side to consider investing in drying and processing agricultural products.
Both sides also exchanged views on the ASEAN-China Expo to be held later this year in Nanning of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
