H.E. Ms. Gabriele KATZMAREK, Member of the German Bundestag, has spoken highly of Cambodia’s rapid development in all sectors.

The appreciation was made during her courtesy meeting with Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia, at the NA Palace in Phnom Penh this morning.

H.E. Ms. Gabriele KATZMAREK stressed the need for the two countries to deepen their cooperation to attain new achievements for both countries.

Samdech Heng Samrin expressed his satisfaction with the growing relations between Cambodia and Germany, adding that the latter has significantly contributed to the peace building and development process in Cambodia through support and assistance to various development projects, particularly in the areas of education, culture, rural development, energy, mine clearance, poverty alleviation, land reform, infrastructure development, good governance and so on.
