France Interested in Siem Reap’s Tourism Investment

A French company branded NQ Better Confluence Co., Ltd. is interested in establishing a recreational park in Siem Reap province.
The intention was revealed in a recent meeting between Mr. Ngan Phirun, Deputy Governor of Siem Reap province and the firm’s representative at the province.
Mr. Ngan Phirun welcomed the company’s intention, stressing that Cambodia opens for all foreign investments including France.
The deputy governor also briefed the firm’s representative on the province’s potentials in tourism and agriculture.
He continued that between 2018 and 2019, the number of national and international tourists increased in Siem Reap province, but it dropped in the first four months of 2020 due to COVID-19 crisis.
