France has committed an amount of US$13 million to continue water resource management and agricultural change programme in Cambodia, according to the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The grant-aid agreement was signed following the 3rd Political Dialogue co-chaired by Cambodian Secretary of State for Economy and Finance H.E. Vongsey Vissoth and French Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Ms. Eva Nguyen Binh yesterday here in Phnom Penh.
The implementation of the project under the financing framework of the French Development Agency (AFD) will contribute essentially to further promoting Cambodia's development.
H.E. Vongsey Vissoth spoke highly of France's key role in Cambodia's social and economic development.
By far, he added, France has provided Cambodia with more than 641 million Euro, wherein 458.5 million Euro are loans, and 182.5 million Euro are grant aids.
