Six international companies have shown their interest to invest in Cambodia, mainly in the areas of health, energy and technology.
The interest was shared in a meeting yesterday between Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and representatives of the six companies, during the Premier's stay in Geneva, Switzerland for the 7th Aid-for-Trade Global Review 2019 and other events.
According to H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister, the representatives took note of the progress and stability in Cambodia and shared their interest to invest in building a hospital and a healthcare centre in Cambodia and to take part in training Cambodian human resources in the field of health as well as to invest in the energy and technology domains.
In reply, Samdech Techo Hun Sen voiced his support to all investment plans in Cambodia, especially on the construction of new infrastructure such as hospitals, and human resource training.
The Prime Minister encouraged those representatives to visit Cambodia to explore the country's real investment potential and opportunities.
