The New York Harbor exotic car fundraiser event will take place on Sunday, Aug. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Liberty State Park
HUDSON COUNTY – If exotic cars and pig roasts rev your engine, Hudson County is today’s go-to destination.
Exotic and luxury cars will be on display frpm 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the New York Harbor exotic car event at Liberty State Park in Jersey City.
Porsche, Lamborghini, Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Ferrari are just some of the companies that will be represented at the Jersey City Medical Center Foundation fund-raising event.
The show also benefits the Women’s Health Center at Grove Street.
Tickets for the event are $25 and can be purchased online by visiting the Eventbrite page. Children under 12 years old are admitted for free.
Also today, you can take the kids for a theatrical double feature as Puppetworks presents “The Emperor’s New Clothes” as well as “The Snow Queen” — the inspiration for Disney hit “Frozen” — at the Jersey City Theater Center at 1 p.m. Show runs every Sunday through Dec. 13.
And to refuel, there’s the Northern Soul Pig Roast in Hoboken, 557 First St. Pay $10 for all the food you can eat and enjoy music by Stuyvesant, Varistor and Miss Ohio. The fun runs from 4 to 8 p.m..
