Cambodian Minister of Environment H.E. Say Samal has called on InSTEDD (Innovative Support to Emergencies, Diseases and Disasters) iLab (innovation lab), a regional NGO, to work with the ministry in creating an App to raise environmental awareness.
H.E. Minister made the appeal while receiving here last week Ms. Suy Channe, Product Manager at InSTEDD iLab South East Asia.
H.E. Say Samal wanted the work to begin as soon as possible in order to contribute to promoting environmental understanding to the public.
InSTEDD current focus areas include design events and prototyping, mobile tools and platforms, information system architecture and connectivity solutions for diagnostics.
InSTEDD launched its first iLab in Phnom Penh in 2008 with the goal of building technological capacity for addressing health, safety and sustainable development issues in the Mekong Basin.
