Cambodia has discussed with the Libyan delegation on possible employment of Cambodians in the country, according to the local media report.
Minister of Labour and Vocational Training H.E. Ith Samheng was cited in the source saying that employment opportunities for Cambodians to work in Libya, based on the discussion, are in the areas of industry, agriculture and housekeeping.
The discussion will pave way to a formalisation of a memorandum of understanding between the two countries later, he added.
H.E. Ith Samheng sees the opportunities that will enable decent payment and exposure to new skills among Cambodians in Libya.
To date, Cambodia has entered official memorandum of understandings of the said purpose with two Arab countries Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
