DPM Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng Receives Delegations of China and Vietnam

Deputy Prime Minister Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng, Minister of Interior, has granted separate meetings to senior delegations of China and Vietnam.

In the meetings taking place lately at the ministry office here in Phnom Penh, both delegations spoke highly of long-lasting relations, solidarity and good collaborations of their respective country with Cambodia in all domains.

Mr. Fu Xuezhang, Former Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, underlined that his visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia is coincided with the 60th anniversary of Cambodia-China diplomatic ties � intimate bond inspired by Cambodia's late King-Father Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk.

He also appreciated enhanced Cambodia-China relations under the leadership of Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, leading to high-profile visits by Chinese President H.E. Xi Jinping and Prime Minister H.E. Li Keqiang to Cambodia.

For his part, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Member of Politburo Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan told Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng that his visit intends to further strengthen cooperation between Cambodia's Phnom Penh capital and Ho Chi Minh city of Vietnam, particularly in areas of tourism, investment, infrastructure and education.

Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng warmly welcomed the two delegations and profoundly thanked their governments for the contribution to the progress of Cambodia.

For China, the DPM reiterated that Cambodia has firmly supported the one-China policy as well as the One Belt, One Road initiative that will benefit all.

To the Vietnamese delegation, he welcomed the proposed cooperation seen as driving force for mutual benefits.
