Digital Government Cooperation Centre Launched

The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications launched Tuesday the Digital Government Cooperation Centre (DGCC) which plays an important role in building policy and capacity of digital government cooperation.

The launching ceremony was held under the presidency of H.E. Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Korean Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Park Heung-Kyeong, representatives of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Cambodia Office, as well as relevant officials.

DGCC is a hub for supporting joint Cambodia-Korea digital cooperation projects, providing policy advice and capacity building, especially for sharing the Korean digital government experience through events, digital government forums, and workshops.

The DGCC project is part of the support for the implementation of the Cambodian Digital Government Policy 2022-2035, which is seeking approval from the Royal Government of Cambodia to build a smart government based on the use of infrastructure and digital technologies as an ecosystem for modernising the governance system and creating a conducive environment to boost an inclusive digital economy and society.
