DFAT Looking for Possible Assistance for Cambodia’s Water Resources Management

Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has received the delegation of Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to discuss possible assistance for Cambodia.

Under Secretary of State H.E. Chann Sinath representing the ministry at the discussion with DFAT delegation led by David Block, First Secretary at the Australian Embassy in Cambodia yesterday at the ministry office here in Phnom Penh.

The conversation looked into a cooperation on integrated water resources management under the project framework of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

According to the water resources ministry, the discussion meeting was a result of H.E. Minister Lim Kean Hor's recent trip to Australia to liaise further assistance from DFAT.

The meeting laid down priority for DFAT interventions to improve water resources management for sustainable development in Cambodia.
