CRC Dispatches Relief Assistance to Over 5,000 Vulnerable Families

Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) has dispatched relief items to 5,077 vulnerable families in Pailin province.

Taking place at different locations such as Stung Trang and Stung Kach communes of Sala Krao district and Sangkat Pailin of Pailin city, from Jan. 23 to 24, the distribution of the relief assistance was led by CRC President Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen.

During the occasions, Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen conveyed greetings from Her Majesty the Queen-Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk, CRC Honorary President, to the locals.

She encouraged local authorities at all levels and concerned parties to pay more attention to all the people without discrimination and urged the people to stay away from drug, gambling and HIV/AIDS, to respect traffic law, and ensure sanitary practice.

Each of the dispatched relief package includes milled rice, instant noodle, canned fish ... and some pocket money.
