The ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and the main opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) resumed their talks here yesterday evening at the National Assembly (NA) Palace after their last meeting on Dec. 10, 2015.
The CPP side was led by its Vice President Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng, NA majority leader, while the CNRP side was headed by its Acting President H.E. Kem Sokha, representative of the NA minority team.
Both sides expressed their optimism to continue their talk and the culture of dialogue for the political stability in the country.
H.E. Chheang Von, a member of the CPP side, said the NA majority and minority team leaders will receive each a car to ease their daily work.
In addition, they will have each nine advisors, assistants, and cabinet, with the rank of Secretary of State, Department Director, and Secretary General, he added in the joint press conference held after the talks.
