COVID-19: Only 112 New Cases Detected, but 287 More Patients Recovered

There were only 112 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Cambodia this morning, of which 10 were imported.

These are PCR test results, pointed out a press release of the Ministry of Health, adding that national counts stood at 118,000, including 19,546 imported cases.

At the same time, 8 more people have died due to the pandemic, but 263 more patients have successfully been cured; bringing the total death and recovered cases to 2,751 and 113,527, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 incident.
