Of the new patients, 350 are community cases linked to the Feb. 20 incident and the rest are imported, pointed out the Ministry of Health in a press release.
At the same time, it added, 348 patients have been successfully cured; the total recovered cases rose to 9,867 with 147 fatal cases, including 5 new deaths.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The total confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
