COVID-19: Daily Cases Remain Low, at 41 This Morning

Only 41 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Cambodia this morning; the national counts thus increased to 119,867, the Ministry of Health pointed out.

The same source underlined that these are PCR test results, six of which were imported and the rest were linked to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.

Meanwhile, there were 39 new recoveries, but 4 new deaths (3 of them have not been vaccinated); bringing the total cured and death cases in the Kingdom to 116,246 and 2,900, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 incident.
