COVID-19: 5 New Infections, but 26 New Recoveries and Zero New Death

Cambodia this morning reported five new cases of COVID-19, all locally transmitted Omicron variant, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health made public this morning.

The Kingdom’s COVID-19 tally now rose to 136,235, including 15,782 Omicron cases (14,432 Omicron community cases).

At the same time, 26 other patients have recovered, while zero new death was recorded; the total cured cases and death toll stood at 132,994 and 3,056, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
