COVID-19: 475 Imported Cases among New Infections; Tally 73,701

The number of imported cases of COVID-19 to Cambodia is still high, or 475 cases among the 778 new infections this morning, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health.

The COVID-19 tally in the Kingdom now rose to 73,701, including 9,152 imported cases, it added.

Meanwhile, the ministry recorded 686 new recoveries and 22 new deaths; bringing the total recovered cases and death toll to 65,950 and 1,305, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was reported in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
