COVID-19: 14 New Infections, 13 New Recoveries, 4 New Deaths

Daily cases of COVID-19 in Cambodia were reported at 14 this morning, the same figure as yesterday; the national counts thus rose to 120,300.

According to a press release of the Ministry of Health, these are PCR test results, 2 of which were imported and the rest were linked to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.

Meanwhile, 13 more patients have successfully been cured; but the daily death toll remains high, at 4 this morning (2 of them have not been vaccinated); bringing the total recovered and death cases in the Kingdom to 116,655 and 2,971, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 incident.
