Fourteen (14) new infections of COVID-19 were reported in Cambodia; the tally thus increased to 120,684, announced a press release of the Ministry of Health issued this morning.
The new cases are of Omicron variant, two of which were infected locally, while there rest were imported; bringing the total confirmed Omicron cases in the Kingdom to 231 (16 were community cases), it added.
At the same time, it pointed out, 9 more patients have recovered with no new death; the total cured and death cases stood at 117,043 and 3,015, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was recorded in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
