COVID-19: 14 New Cases, 12 New Recoveries, Zero New Death

Cambodia this morning announced the detection of only 14 new cases of COVID-19; all of locally transmitted Omicron variant.

According to the Ministry of Health’s press release issued this morning, the country’s COVID-19 tally now rose to 136,090, of which 15,637 are Omicron cases, including 14,294 Omicron community cases.

Meanwhile, there were 12 new recoveries, while zero new death was reported; the total cured cases and death toll stood at 132,801 and 3,055, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
