Commerce Minister Receives Newly Appointed Turkish Ambassador

Cambodian Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak has expressed his full support to Turkey's intention to increase its cooperation with Cambodia.

While receiving here late last week newly appointed Ambassador of Turkey to Cambodia H.E. Ms. Ayda Anlu, H.E. Minister underlined that Cambodia considers Turkey as a good partner, particularly in the fields of culture, social affairs and trade.

On the occasion, H.E. Pan Sorasak briefed his guest on Cambodia's progress in terms of economy and trade and requested the Turkish side to encourage more businessmen and investors to invest in prioritised sectors such as agriculture, tourism, mainly agroprocessing industry in Cambodia, so as to create added value, promote job diversification and strengthen the economic and trade ties between both countries.

For her part, H.E. Ms. Ayda Anlu expressed her delight to fulfill her diplomatic mission in Cambodia and noticed the Kingdom's development under the leadership of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

The new diplomat also pledged to convince more Turkish investors to Cambodia and mentioned about the 2nd meeting of Cambodia-Turkey Joint Economic Committee and relevant meetings to be hosted by Turkey.
