(the “Company” or “CNIT”) (Nasdaq GS: CNIT), a leading provider of integrated cloud-based platform, exchange, and big data solutions in China, today announced that it has entered into a strategic agreement with the Wudang District government in Guiyang City to collaborate on the “CNIT Internet + Smart Guiyang” project through applying new media solutions in elevator Internet of things, bus stops, healthcare, public transportation and residential communities, and explore cloud-based new media opportunities in fields from education, finance, healthcare, media, and transportation.
According to the agreement, the Company will leverage its proprietary Cloud-App-Terminal (CAT) model and Cloud-Nest data analytics to build the “CNIT Internet + Elevator Internet of Things” platform, the “CNIT Internet + Smart Bus Stops” platform, promote the Company’s cloud-based solutions such as Cloud Media, Cloud Conferencing, Healthcare One Pass, Smart Bus Stops, and explore additional new media opportunities in fields including education, finance, healthcare, media, and transportation. The Company will build a local cloud-computing center to provide technical and service support for its new media offerings.
Assisting the deployment of CNIT new media offerings, the local government of Wudang district will provide funding support and preferential policies in company setup, local hiring, and furnishing of office space.
